Cowley County (LCC), a community
leadership program with the mission to equip and build capacity in
people to create change in self, our community and the world, is

The class is not only a
call to action to those who are already aware of their leadership skills, but

leadership capabilities. It provides transformational skill sets needed to
improve the capacity to interact productively with others.
The Leadership Cowley
County program is dedicated to training individuals from all backgrounds,
education and skill levels in the principles of both personal and civic
leadership. Class members learn about and visit various locations in the county
and are introduced to and work with curriculum developed by the Kansas
Leadership Center (KLC). The Kansas Leadership Center is a leadership
development organization funded by a core-operating grant from the Kansas
Health Foundation.
