United Way of the Plains has officially launched this year’s
free tax return assistance program, VITA. Last year, this program helped 403
individuals/families in Cowley County, returning $559,362 back into the local
economy. The Ark City Senior Center and Eagle Nest Inc (Winfield) will
serve as the coordinated sites again this year, but additional information can
be found at unitedwayplains.org/taxprep.
