Yes, we are open and continue to care for our patients and families.
At the Kindred at Home family of hospice care providers, which includes Kindred Hospice, our
first priority is the well-being of our employees and the patients and families we care for every day.
Our clinicians have recently completed specific COVID-19 training and are prepared to continue to
provide exceptional care.
We continue to monitor developments with COVID-19 and recommendations from the CDC. We have
established the KAH Virus Response Committee (VRC) and a COVID-19 Task Force to manage the
fast changing environment from both clinical and customer perspectives.
We are prepared to help you.
For hospice appropriate patients our speed-to-care helps get them home quickly
with the care they need
o Rapid admission process better facilitates discharges of patients going home – 24/7
o Our care consultants have digital copies of information for families
o Ability to meet families off-site or over the phone
o Ability to provide bedside phone calls from our clinicians to patient families
We are committed to clinical excellence with compassion and dignity when life matters most.
