Winfield Public Library Friends to Meet Virtually in March
The Friends of the Winfield
Public Library will hold its monthly meeting on Monday, March 14th at
7pm. All are welcome to join this
month’s virtual meeting! Following
updates from library staff, our knowledgeable team will lead a demonstration on several features of the library’s
website.
WPL patrons have access to
customized book recommendations, reading tracking programs, and up-to-date
listings of new materials added to the library’s collection. “This meeting is for anyone who has ever
wondered about the Novelist or Beanstack links on WPL’s website,” says Sheryl
Erickson, Friends Board President. “The
Friends group is excited to highlight the features of wpl.org and help
community members use the website to their advantage.”
The March meeting will be
virtual. Please register for the Zoom
link through the online events calendar at wpl.org or by calling 620-221-4470.
The Friends of the Winfield
Public Library supports activities such as the Summer Reading Program and the
Discovery exhibits. For those who believe in literacy programs, love the
library and wish to support strong community, membership in The Friends is a
great way to show support.
