Winfield Public Library Friends to Meet in February
The Friends of the Winfield
Public Library will hold its monthly meeting on Monday, February 14th
at 7pm – all are welcome! After a brief
meeting, Friends Board President Sheryl Erickson will lead an activity on
valentine making and its history. The
evening will close with a game of “Library Sweep;” this friendly scavenger hunt
will feature a wide variety of WPL’s services and collections.
Erickson encourages community
members to attend. “Join WPL-loving
Friends on Valentine’s Day for an evening of enjoying and celebrating something
we all love – the library.”
The program is free to all
and sponsored by the Friends of the Winfield Public Library. Register by
calling the library at 620-221-4470 or through the events calendar at wpl.org.
The Friends of the Winfield
Public Library supports activities such as the Summer Reading Program and the
Discovery exhibits. For those who believe in literacy programs, love the
library and wish to support strong community, membership in The Friends is a
great way to show support.
