Master Gardener Amy Jo McWhirt to Present at Friends of the Library Program
All are invited to a program by Master Gardener Amy Jo McWhirt that will discuss how planting a simple garden provides crucial habitat to wildlife. Attend to discover if your garden has all the elements needed to become a National Wildlife Federation (NWF) Certified Wildlife Habitat. The program is Monday, March 8th after a short 7pm meeting. Register for this Zoom program by calling Winfield Public Library (620-221-4470) or through WPL’s online events calendar. This program is made possible by the Friends of the Winfield Public Library.
For information on this or any of WPL’s other programs, visit wpl.org or call 620-221-4470. WPL is currently open for curbside pick-up for books, dvds, and grab and go crafts. Copying and faxing services are also available. If you’re a book browser and are not sure which book you want to check out, pick up one of our book browsing bags for ideas. These can be found outside WPL along with the latest bestseller lists, book reviews, and new to WPL book lists. Or give us a call and we’ll happily make some recommendations just for you. We love connecting good people to good books! Talk with a librarian Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10am to 5pm; Tuesday and Thursday from 10am to 7pm; and Saturday from 10am to 2pm.
