Exciting News: AED Grant Approved for CCHSM Museum!
I am thrilled to share some exciting news with you all today, courtesy of Tom
Langer's diligent efforts. Tom has informed us that the grant request he
submitted for the installation of an AED at the museum has been APPROVED! This
is a significant milestone for us, and Tom's dedication to this cause has been
truly commendable.
There was a moment of concern that perhaps our request had been overlooked, but
thanks to Tom's persistence, he has successfully secured funding for the AED
device. In addition to the grant funding, the Health Department has graciously
offered to contribute any additional funding that may be needed to ensure the
successful implementation of this project.
Tom has already made arrangements with a trusted vendor in Wichita who will
supply and install the AED device at the museum. Furthermore, as a token of our
gratitude, Tom plans to order a small wall plaque to be placed next to the
device, acknowledging the generosity of the funder. Once the installation
process is complete, our Public Information Officer (PIO) will prepare a press
release to share this exciting news with the community. Additionally, they will
send a joint letter of thanks to the funder from both the Health Department and
the Historical Society.
I sincerely hope that you all join me in expressing our heartfelt appreciation
to Tom for his hard work and dedication to enhancing the safety of our museum
and our community.
Stay well,
