Art in the Park, a long-standing arts and crafts show, features more than 50 juried artists, a variety of food trucks, a cooking contest, wine tastings, live entertainment and children’s activities. Always held the first Saturday of October in Island Park. Admission is $2 (suggested donation).

This free-admission shopping event is filled with fun. Always the first Saturday in October at the Winfield Fairgrounds, with 80+ vendors of all types - crafts, antiques, direct sales, food, jewelry, woodworking, and much more! Bring the whole family!

The mission of the Winfield Friday Art Walks is to celebrate community, creativity, and culture.

Community: To enhance the quality of life for the community of Winfield, Kansas through the expedition of events that encourages individuals and organizations to collaborate and celebrate within the community. To use these events as contributor to economic development by attracting visitors and tourism generating increased local spending.

Creativity: To continue to develop Winfield’s Friday Art Walk as a diverse celebration of all art forms: visual, performing, literary, film, ethnic and historical, accessible to all ages and cultures. To offer exposure of visiting artists and connect communities through creativity.

Culture: To continue to seek new ways to enrich Winfield’s cultural community by creating arts-related employment, education, expression and development. To provide family friendly events for multi-generation inclusion.

Regional artists co-op featuring watercolor, oil painting, sculpture, pottery, glass work and more. Classes offered periodically. Call for more information.





It is our goal to provide an especially impressive show to commemorate this milestone performance!! The Edge staff is a group of highly trained, award-winning choreographers and instructors who are dedicated to bringing an upscale & classic Christmas ballet to the Cowley County area.

Doors open at 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm. Viking Voices perform half an hour before the ballet begins. Shows start at 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm. The show is held at Southwestern College’s Richardson Performing Arts Center in Winfield, Kansas.

Adults: $10
Children under 12: $5
