Cowley County Humane Society will host the annual spring garage sale at Winfield’s fairgrounds. Individuals wishing to donate items may bring them to barn #8 (west of grandstands) on Thursday, June 10 from 4 pm to 7 pm and Friday June 12 from 4 pm - to 7 pm. We cannot take donations before these times without special arrangements. We will not accept televisions, text books, and encyclopedias. Children’s books and cookbooks are welcome. The event will be open for sales on Friday, June 11 from 4 pm to 7 pm and on Saturday, June 12 from 8 am to 2 pm. Shoppers may fill a bag with a $5 donation for many items. Volunteers will be needed for setting up and especially when the event ends and the leftovers must be packed for hauling away. Individuals with early donations, questions, or wishing to volunteer may call Teresa Cox at 620 221 2673.
