As you are likely aware, the Walnut Valley Association decided in June to postpone the 49th Walnut Valley Festival until 2021 due to COVID-19 concerns. In the meantime, we have been busy making plans to hold a virtual festival this September that we are calling Walnut Valley Festival 48.5. This event will be streaming for free during the week that the Festival was scheduled to take place with donations being accepted to help our entertainers who have been unable to perform during this time as well as cover our production costs.

Southwestern College Begins Semester with Record Enrollment and Heightened Safety Measures

Officials at Walnut Valley Association (WVA) have announced that a virtual Walnut Valley Festival in September, dubbed WVF 48.5, will include a week’s worth of activities to be held in conjunction with an online fundraising campaign. Funds raised will go to the lineup of entertainers taking part in the online event, and will also help pay for production costs for both the virtual festival and for the 49th Festival in 2021.
