Announcing Destination Creation to Cowley County Businesses
The Destination Creation course was developed by Jon Schallert whose Destination Business strategy
has helped businesses large and small to capture more market share, even when larger, bettercapitalized competitors seemingly have the advantage. When independent business owners apply the
Destination strategy to their businesses, they naturally attract more local consumers along with
customers from outside the traditional marketplace.
The Destination Creation course was an idea of community and association leaders that wanted a
shorter version of Jon’s Destination BootCamp class, and they wanted it to be taught in any location, in
rural small towns or urban areas, anywhere a group of interested business professionals could get
together to learn.
This course, led by Kerri Falletti, a facilitator trained by Jon, is designed to help you maximize the draw
to your business by helping you to identify what makes your business a unique destination. Now is the
perfect opportunity to build upon your business so that once we emerge from our current situation,
you'll be stronger and better prepared to bring people back to your business!
The 8-class series will take place via a Zoom video conference call May 14 – June 11, Tuesdays and
Thursdays, 9:00 am – 11:00 am. There will also be an opportunity to schedule continued one-on-one
follow-up to review how you're positioning your business for that next step.
The cost of the class for Cowley County businesses is $155 which includes a digital workbook and online
materials license. This is half the cost that the program is being marketed to the rest of the country.
Cowley County businesses can also be eligible for a $100 scholarship refunded upon completion of the
course through our NetWork Kansas and E-Community partnership.
