A Holiday Gift Shop
Winfield, KS
12/08/2022 02:42 PM

Join us in our Gallery for some Holiday Cheer.

WAHC has provided a great opportunity for folks to check a few names off of their holiday shopping lists, while supporting local artists.
Enjoy the variety of this small selection from artists like Marsha Phillippi, Lynn Felts, Amy Jo McWhirt, Jenna Dunn, and many more.  Then, be sure to take a picture with our Brown Paper Packages holiday display! Tag us in any photos you take, or posts you make; the Arts and Humanities Council, as well as all of our local artists, could use some extra exposure this holiday season. End the 2022 year, spreading love and supporting the arts.

Merrymaking Market

The Winfield Arts & Humanities Council was approached with an idea to help children in low-income housing, get a gift for mom, dad, grandparents, and siblings a little something-something for during this season. With the help of Teresa Krusor, and the bountiful amount of donated activities, that we have received through the years, WAHC will be hosting a one-day event, December 17th, for kids to do a little gift giving of their own this year.
Children HAVE to be registered beforehand; we have a limited number of gifts/ supplies, so we will abide by the rules of first come, first serve. Each child when registered will be granted 10 tickets, that they can then use to buy jewelry, craft activities, art, and more. We will have tissue paper and Braum's bags for wrapping stuff up, to keep gifts a secret from the recipients.

   Buffet Bag Boutique

While your children are using their tickets in the Merrymaking Market, you can spend $15 to get a commemorative Winfield Arts & Humanities Council drawstring backpack and fill it with miscellaneous supplies! We will have totes filled with ribbon, fabric, beads, paper, stickers, etc. for you choose from; you stuff your own "stocking".   Create your own gifts this year, get the supplies you need to finish a project, or simply make a challenge for yourself (or someone else) to utilize everything in the bag for a mixed media masterpiece. The possibilities are endless in the Buffet Bag Boutique!     This may also be a great way to allow kids to shop the Merrymaking Market separately from their siblings.
