On behalf of the Farm at Quail Valley and the WVDGA (Walnut Valley Disc Golf Association) we are reaching out to the Cowley County businesses to request businesses to sponsor the premier disc golf tournament in Cowley County (The Classic in Cowley) that will bring approximately 300 participants/families to both Winfield and Arkansas City May 7-8,2022.
2022 is the 3rd year for The Classic. First two years the tournament has been held at the Farm at Quail Valley and has been very successful. In 2022 we are expanding the tournament to Arkansas City to use the new installed course at Knebler Pond. Knebler Pond has been getting great reviews, so the Farm at Quail Valley staff is excited to showcase that course to players from all over the United States during The Classic.
The Farm and the WVDGA goal are to keep growing this event each year. Using a 3rd course in 2023 is very possible if we can get the Cowley County businesses to help make our 2022 event successful.
Money raised will be used for course signage, player pack items for amateurs, added cash for pro’s and added cash for merchandise payout to amateurs. This will bring in more players to the 2022 The Classic in Cowley.

Lastly, we appreciate any contribution we get, and all businesses are welcome to attend the tournament throughout the weekend at both courses. We will post a schedule at a later date once finalized.
