Winfield Public Library Seeks Adult Services Librarian
Winfield Public Library is seeking an energetic, creative, and organized
individual to serve as our new Adult Services Librarian. Applicants must
enjoy the energy and activity of a library, have programming and community
outreach experience, and be eager to provide excellent customer service to a
diverse audience. This position engages the public with educational,
vocational, entertainment, and other initiatives, therefore, proven creative and
engaging public programs experience is needed. Experience in community
partnerships and collaborations is a plus.
This
40-hour position coordinates and facilitates all aspects of library programming
and outreach services targeted to an adult audience, and is part of a team that
is passionate about serving the community. The right person for this position has a college degree or
equivalent experience required with demonstrated strong interpersonal
communication skills as well as effective oral and written presentation skills.
