ACES Food Packaging Event to Provide 20,000 Meals for Local Food Pantries

WHO:
Cowley College ACES, Central Christian Church, Rotary Club, and other civic organizations.

WHAT:
ACES, in partnership with Central Christian Church, Rotary Club, and other civic groups, will host the annual Food Packaging Event to assemble 20,000 meals for food pantries in Cowley County. Volunteers will come together to package meals that will support local families in need. This event has been a longstanding tradition at Cowley College, fostering community engagement and service.

WHEN:
Saturday, March 8, 2025
Event begins at 8:00 AM and is expected to conclude around noon.

WHERE:
Central Christian Church - Main Gym
206 W. Central Ave.
Arkansas City, KS

WHY:
Food insecurity remains a significant issue in the community. This initiative brings together local organizations and volunteers to make a tangible impact by packaging and distributing nutritious meals to those in need.
