Winfield Public Library’s winter craft kit for adults will be available beginning Wednesday, December 4.  The kits include supplies and instructions to make two paper bag snowflakes. Southwestern College’s 91st annual production of “Eagerheart” will be presented three times. Performances will be Wednesday, Dec. 4, at 11 a.m., and Sunday, Dec. 8, at 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., at Grace United Methodist Church.  Admission is free with a non-perishable food item to be donated to the Winfield Food Pantry.... U.S. Senator Jerry Moran visited Cowley College on November 25th to tour the newly constructed Tyler Technical Education Center and highlight the college’s welding program expansion. The visit follows the August announcement of a $264,000 Community Project Funding/Congressional Directed Spending grant, secured through Senator Moran’s support, to enhance Cowley’s welding program....
