Candidate Forum Planned
The Winfield Area Chamber of Commerce Legislative Committee will
be holding a candidate forum for the Kansas House of Representatives District
79 on Tuesday, October 4 at 6 pm at the Community Center at Baden Square. Participating in the forum will be candidates
Webster Roth (R) and Kris Trimmer (D).
This event will be in person and will also be live streamed on
facebook and posted online for public viewing after the event. Find it on the Winfield Area Chamber of
Commerce facebook page. Greg Thompson
will be the moderator of this event.
Candidates have been given the following topics on which to
prepare to speak: Medicaid expansion, education
from preschool through college, and rural economic development
Attendees will have the opportunity to submit questions in
writing at the forum, however questions submitted in advance will be given
priority. Question can be submitted in
advance to ceo@winfieldpartners.org prior to noon on October
3.
