Public Library Seeks Its Next Director
Winfield
Public Library is seeking its next energetic, creative, and detail-oriented
director; the current director, Patty Wagner, is moving out of state to be
closer to family. Details regarding the position, job description,

The
Library Director acts as the library’s chief executive officer, cultivating the
library’s position as a vital resource for the community through efficient
management, committed service, and creative initiatives. The
director leads with an approach that motivates staff, demonstrates a commitment
to being embedded in the community, and possesses the ability to listen to
diverse perspectives in an effort to foster programs and services.
“It
has been an honor to serve this amazing community,” states Wagner. “The next
director will continue the library’s legacy as a place of life-long learning
and service to the community, using their unique talents to initiate new
opportunities while increasing offerings and support for all Winfielders.”
