Hello all!
We here at the City-Cowley County Health Department have
some exciting news for you all! Once again, we will be hosting the annual
Cowley County Health and Safety Fair. The event will be held at the Agri-Business
Building in Arkansas City on June 4th from 9a to 12p.
This fun-filled an educational event attracts expecting and
existing families as well as older adults. The fair will feature educational
sessions, exhibits, and door prizes. We would love for you to be part of the
Health and Safety Fair this year. You can participate by setting up a display
at the event, becoming a sponsor, providing a door prize, or any combination of
these.
Despite the pandemic, the event has shown consistent growth
over the years and previous fairs have had over 800 community members in
attendance. With the pandemic in mind, safety precautions established at last
year’s fair will be in place to ensure that vendors and attendees can remain
safe.
The fair presents an excellent opportunity for promoting
your organization, connecting community members with resources, and networking.
A variety of organizations attend the fair, representing areas such as
healthcare, insurance resources, local services, medical equipment, safety
advocacy groups, and many others.
We would love to see you participate in this year’s fair and
there are many capacities in which you can do so! Please see the attached
document for more information on how you can get involved. The attached
document will also have a vendor form for those planning to attend. Please
complete the form and email it back to me.
In addition to the date mentioned above, we have also
reserved the Agri-Business Building on the preceding Friday afternoon (June 3rd
from 3-6p) for those who would like to set-up before the day of the event.
Thank you all, and I hope to see you at the Health and
Safety Fair!
Regards,
Daniel Vildasol
