String Builders to Make Debut on Monday
Winfield, Kan., Oct. 7, 2021 — The Community Music School at Southwestern
College will be host to the String Builders debut performance on Monday, Oct.
11, at 7 p.m., in Messenger Recital Hall in the Darbeth Fine Arts
Building. There is no admission charge and the public is invited to attend.
String Builders is a part of The SC Pre-College String Ensembles and is
directed by Amber Peterson. String Builders is a string ensemble for beginning
strings students. Focusing on students who are new to a stringed instrument,
this group is especially geared toward homeschoolers, students from districts
without orchestra programs, or early or later beginners from districts with
orchestra programs. This ensemble is offered to students in fourth grade
through seventh grade.
