Legacy Foundation welcomes Madison Metzinger to Board Service
Winfield, KS

We are pleased to welcome Madison Metzinger as the newest member of our Legacy Foundation board of directors.

Born and raised in Winfield, community involvement has always been an important aspect of life for Madison. Madison is a graduate of Southwestern College with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and a minor in Leadership Studies.

Soon after graduation, married Devin Metzinger and moved to Hillsboro.  There Madison worked in the hospitality field as the manager of a boutique hotel, The Historic Elgin Hotel.

In 2019, The Metzingers returned to Cowley County to raise their family when daughter Emery was born.  At the same time, Madison accepted a position at Daniels Ready Mix, a family business. An active parishioner at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, in her spare time, Madison enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring the Flint Hills, and volunteering for the Cowley County Historical Society and Museum.

Do you wonder why Madison said "yes" when invited to serve on the Foundation board to help in steering the future of Legacy? We did.  So we asked and Madison answered.

"I agreed to serve on the Board of Directors for Legacy because, as a steward of Cowley County, I felt a responsibility to help ensure local non-profits will be here to aid future generations, and Legacy Community Foundation does just that. I am passionate about this community and seeing it thrive!"

We're excited Madison said "yes" to giving her time and talents to Legacy Foundation.  We hope you are, too!

Together we can Keep 5 At Home and create a stronger future for Cowley County and the surrounding region!
