Kansas Commerce announces new Coronavirus Relief Grants
The state of Kansas is making emergency financial relief available from federal CARES Act funding to those who need it most.
The Strengthening People and Revitalizing Kansas (SPARK) Taskforce has approved more than $130 million in relief funding for economic development and connectivity in the state. These dollars are being awarded in the form of grants to eligible businesses.
The application portal for both Economic Development and Connectivity grants being made by the SPARK Task Force using CARES Act funds opened at 4 p.m. today, August 13 at https://www.kansascommerce.gov/covidrelief/. At this time, you will be able to view the applications only. Applications will be accepted beginning at Noon, on Wednesday, August 19th. This five-day review period will allow time for businesses to gather materials and prepare for successfully completing the applications.
This funding will provide grants to small businesses and nonprofits that have incurred losses of more than 25% of revenues during COVID, among other eligible categories.

Broadband Partnership Adoption Grant

Higher Education Advanced Manufacturing and IT Equipment Grants
