History of Art Collecting in Kansas Public Schools 1900-1950
Saturday, March 23, the USD
465 Foundation Art Preservation committee is sponsoring the bus trip to take
interested folks to the Beach Art Museum in Manhattan, KS for a private tour by
Liz Seaton of the "To the Stars Through Art" exhibition.
We will leave Winfield from
the parking lot east of Grace United Methodist Church (College Street) promptly
at 8:30am. This location was chosen so that interested folks can leave their
cars in a safe place and anyone interested in getting a to-go cup of coffee or
other delicious beverage from College Hill Coffee across the street may do so.
Please allow time if food or beverage is to be ordered.
The bus will arrive in
Manhattan at 11:30am. Lunch plans will be announced to those who would be
riding the bus at a later date. The bus will then leave Manhattan promptly at
4pm and arrive at the GUMC parking lot at 7pm.
