The Winfield Arts & Humanities Council celebrated the town's
150th anniversary by unveiling the "Building Blocks of Winfield"
mural during the Sesquicentennial Celebration Weekend (A.K.A. this morning). We
received a grant to create the mural, which features iconic buildings, scenes,
and symbols representing local history. To bring the mural to life, Alex and
Andrea Polzin from A&A Signs and Murals were hired, and they worked closely
with the community and local artists to come up with the design.
We
are very proud of this installation, and hope it becomes another cherished
aspect of Winfield!
