Every
year Winfield community members volunteer to support our Winfield High School
seniors. People come together to interview our students. This
twenty-five minute conversation offers the young people of WHS an
opportunity to showcase the life journey they have taken so far and the one
they hope to take after graduation.
We are
seeking volunteers who are willing to do two things. One is to read the
website each student has prepared. In April, a link to the website
and feedback instructions will be sent to you via your email. The second
item is to interview the student during our senior exit interview nights. These
will be held April 26, 27, and 28 at the USD 465 District Office on 1407 Wheat
Road from 5:00-8:30 pm.
If you have the time to assist the seniors as
they step into adulthood, please fill out this form. If you know of a community person who would be
interested in this endeavor, please pass along this email. If you have any
questions, please contact me, Amanda Porter, ELA department chair. I hope
to hear from you!
