Stage I features most of the performers who play at the festival over the weekend. This year, the artists performing there will include The Dillards, The Steel Wheels, Missy Raines & Allegheny, Frank Solivan & Dirty Kitchen, Juni Fisher, Tom Chapin & Michael Mark, Appalachian Road Show, John McCutcheon, Chris Jones & The Night Drivers, Bing Futch, Damn Tall Buildings, Rachel Baiman & George Jackson, The Cowboy Way, Bill Evans, Tim May & Steve Smith, 3 TRAILS WEST, Mile Twelve, Byron Berline Band & Legacy Grass, The Gothard Sisters, Pretend Friend, Old Sound, and the Tray Wellington Band. Viewers will also be treated to a set featuring the winners of this year’s National Flat Pick Guitar Championship and another with the International Finger Style Guitar champions.
Live streaming will be available as a stand-alone package, either a day’s worth of streaming for $20, or all three days for $50. In addition, festival promoters will make the streaming available for no additional charge to all those who have purchased tickets to the live festival.

Festival-goers who have purchased tickets to this year’s festival online can expect an e-mail with the information needed to access the live feed in the next few days. Fans who bought tickets for cash or did not supply an e-mail address when buying can complete a form on the festival website at by September 10, and will then be sent the information needed to view the show.
