Downtown
Closure Planned for Winfield Main Street Music Crawl
The Winfield Main Street Committee of the Winfield Area
Chamber of Commerce has been working on plans to improve the September 14th
downtown Pre-Festival Music Crawl. In
cooperation with the City of Winfield and the Kansas Department of
Transportation, Winfield Main Street will close down a portion of the downtown

provide a safer and more enjoyable environment in which the public can
experience the September music crawl.

14th. The area closed will be

alcohol purchased through the YP Beer & Wine Garden will be allowed for
consumption on the closed streets.
The
Winfield Main Street Hamburger Feed will still be held at its usual location at
9th Avenue and Millington Street during the music crawl. Hotdog meals will be sold for $5, Hamburger meals for $7, and Double Meat Meals for $10. 100% of the proceeds from this event go into the Winfield Main Street Committee’s mini grant fund for downtown business improvements.
