GED Adjunct Instructor: Teach math and/or Language Arts, and other relevant adult education subjects as needed to prepare leaners to pass the GED exam and be well prepared for the workplace and for post-secondary education. Apply differentiation techniques, small group strategies, independent learning, and a problem-solving approach with the implementation of evidence-based educational practices to support students as they work to reach their educa-tional, personal, and professional goals. Maintain accurate records including class attendance, retention, pre/post testing, and student outcomes. Must possess a Bachelor's degree with a strong background in Education, English Language Arts, Social Studies, Science or Math. In-structor should be knowledgeable in cultural differences and respectable towards students of all ages and cultures. Instructor should be organized, computer literate, and able to communi-cate effectively. A bachelor’s degree plus experience may be substituted for an education de-gree. Must pass a background check and maintain a valid Kansas driver’s license.
ESL Adjunct Instructor: Teach students of diverse ages and backgrounds by helping them im-prove their reading, writing, speaking, listening, soft-skills, and other relevant adult education subjects as needed to prepare employment and/or citizenship and/or post-secondary educa-tion. Adapt communication and delivery of curriculum to provide individual, small group, and/or remedial instruction as to meet the needs of individual ESL students. Maintain accurate records including class attendance, retention, pre/post testing, and student outcomes. Must possess a Bachelor's degree with a strong background in Education or English Language Arts; TESOL Certification is preferred. Instructor should be knowledgeable in cultural differences and re-spectable towards students of all ages and cultures. Should be organized, computer literate, and able to communicate enthusiastically and effectively. A bachelor’s degree plus experience may be substituted for an education degree. Must pass a background check and maintain a valid Kansas driver’s license.
FT Program Specialist: Coaches persons served to improve their productivity and their work habits. Adapts daily to client preference and choice, business and industry needs and client goals and objectives. Assists with smooth transition of clients into competitive employment uti-lizing life skills/ job readiness training. Serves as PCSP team member. Records daily client productivity, tracks attendance, writes case notes and orders supplies as needed. Maintains ISO Compliance/certification. Maintains CARF Compliance.
