Walnut Valley Festival to Introduce Art Beat Alley in 2024
Winfield, KS – Organizers of the
Walnut Valley Festival have announced an exciting addition to their juried
crafts fair this year: Art Beat Alley. This dedicated space will offer
festival-goers a unique blend of artistic expression and musical talent.
Art Beat Alley will feature six
gifted musicians who also create beautiful works of visual art. These talented
individuals juggle day jobs and gigs, and bring their artistic passions to life
in a visual medium as well.
Jaime and Garrett
Briggeman (of Wayne Gottstine Band and Dewayne Brothers) produce freelance art,
original paintings, and prints.
Sally Vee (Sally and
The Hurts) crafts detailed leather goods like multi-use bags and bass quivers.
Joey Henry (Joey
Henry’s Dirty Sunshine Club) is a photographer and musician.
Bonny Reece, owner of
Sonas Studios, creates miniature paintings and select hand-painted items.
Jo Baskerville designs
wooden puzzles and commemorative art.
