Winfield Main Street Committee will be hosting a summer music crawl on Friday, July 17th at 5:30 PM and will end around 8:30 PM. To ensure everyone’s safety, the performances will be located in the side street surrounding Main Street and 9th Avenue instead of on the sidewalks like crawls in the past. This will allow spectators to spread out and maintain distance from those they did not come with. Those who attend are encouraged to bring their own chairs as well as face masks for times when social distancing is difficult.
The Young Professionals of Cowley County will be hosting a beer garden at the corner of 9th Avenue and Millington Street where guests can buy domestic beer for $3, craft beer for $4, and Wheat State Wine Co. wines for $6. YP Members get their first drink for free. Jordan Butler will be performing in the beer garden sponsored by YP.
A food truck court will also be set up at 9th Avenue and Millington Street. 3 Critters BBQ and Neives Taco Truck will be parked by the city building at 200
E. 9th Avenue.
The corner of 8th Avenue and Main Street will feature Ben Russell on the west side of Main Street sponsored by Biederman’s Bistro, Cutting Edge Custom Tees, and The Edge Performing Arts Center. Cowley County Humane Society will also be selling water bottles and will have adoptable animals on site. On the east side of Main Street on 8th Avenue, the band Final Thoughts will be performing sponsored by The Emporium and Precision Printing.
The corner of 10th Avenue and Main Street will feature the Walnut River String Band on the west side of Main Street sponsored by Graves Drug. The east side will feature Grody Riggins for the first half of the evening sponsored by RCB Bank and Walnut Valley Association. Little Big Twang will take the stage for the second half of the evening sponsored by the Cowley County Democratic Party.
The corner of 11th Avenue and Main Street on the west side will feature The Student Loans sponsored by the Marquee Performing Arts Center and Snappy Chicks Boutique.... More >><< Less
