Golden Tigers Program Kicks Off an Exciting Spring Semester at Cowley College

The Cowley College Golden Tigers program is off to a strong start for the Spring 2025 semester! Despite the cold weather during enrollment week, which led to a slightly lower turnout for in-person enrollment events, efforts are underway to ensure all interested participants have the opportunity to enroll. The program continues to thrive, offering a wide range of engaging courses and exciting trips for lifelong learners in the community.

Golden Tigers participants can look forward to a mix of new and returning classes designed to educate and entertain. Among the course offerings are:
· Lymphatic Health - A highly popular repeat class from last fall.
· Partner Dance - A brand-new course for those looking to learn new moves.
· Mushroom Planting Kits - Offered in partnership with K-State Extension Master Gardeners.
· Spanish - For language learners at any level.
· Bunco - A fun and social dice game class.
· Professional Portraits - Adding professional photos to your profile is a unique opportunity for participants.
· Cooking with Mike Castaneda - A fan-favorite class, now held in a more convenient location in Sumner County.
· Orphan Train Orphans of Sumner County - A fascinating history course that promises to be a standout offering this semester.

Additionally, the program has several day trips planned, with spots still available for:
· Book of Mormon in Wichita - A fantastic opportunity to experience this acclaimed production.
· Art at the Arb - Bartlett Arboretum - During tulip season, experience breathtaking views and artistic inspiration through a trip to the Bartlett Arboretum.
