Cowley College Welcomes Dr. Tasha Taylor as Associate Vice President of Academic Affairs

Cowley College is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Tasha Taylor as the new Associate Vice President of Academic Affairs. Dr. Taylor brings a wealth of experience in higher education leadership, a deep commitment to student success, and a strong background in behavioral science.

Dr. Taylor earned her Doctorate of Education in Leadership from the American College of Education. She also holds a Master of Arts degree in Sociology and a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology with a minor in Psychology. Before transitioning into higher education, she spent several years as a practitioner, refining her expertise as a behavioral scientist and strengthening her dedication to human service.

Dr. Taylor has served in various capacities, including faculty member, department chair, associate dean, and dean. Her extensive experience has led to numerous state-level appointments, where she has contributed to committees focused on curriculum development and faculty performance.

“Being able to help shape the future of higher education for generations to come is both an honor and a privilege - and I take my endeavors quite seriously,” said Dr. Taylor.

Dr. Taylor is a passionate advocate for student achievement and believes that care, collaboration, and communication are essential to institutional and student success. She is excited to join Cowley College, a thriving institution known for its dedication to academic excellence and community support.
