Crop Hop Fun Run
Join friends, family and local farmers as we celebrate the close of the 2019 Walnut Valley Farmers Market season. The Crop Hop Fun Run is a free 3.1 mile run through Winfield's Island Park that begins and ends near our local farmers market. Get up, get moving, and get some great local produce.

Walnut Valley Metric
The Walnut Valley Metric routes travel through scenic Cowley County on gently rolling hills and lightly traveled secondary roads. Registration includes SAGs and lunch at Liberty Township School House.
Proceeds from the ride benefit Prairie Travelers for the Prairie Sunset Trail.

Marquee Downtown Lunch Fundraiser
The monthly Marquee Second Thursday Luncheon will be held on Thursday, October 10, from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Marquee Performing Arts Center, 1007 Main St., Winfield. This month will feature chicken & noodles, mashed potatoes, dessert and drink for only $7. The luncheon is sponsored by Cowley CourierTraveler. Carry outs are available.
Marquee, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit effort. The mission is two-fold in nature: first, to preserve and restore the former Winfield Fox Theatre building on Main Street; second, to offer a multi-purpose facility that provides entertainment, education, and cultural events for our community. Southwestern College Singers "Love through the Seasons"
Southwestern College’s A Cappella Choir and SC Singers will present their fall concert, “Love through the Seasons,” on Friday, Oct. 18, at 7 p.m., in Messenger Recital Hall in the Darbeth Fine Arts Building. There is no admission charge and the public is invited to attend.
“Featuring pieces in English and German, as well as Japanese, the program will take us on an amorous journey through the seasons with a repertoire that includes Baroque part songs, choral classics, and well-known contemporary show tunes,” says Amanda Li, director of choral activities and voice at Southwestern College.
